We spent 3 lovely days at WelcomHeritage Ranjit-Villas during our visit to Amritsar. The food and accomodation was excellent, but it was the very friendly staff that made our stay so memorable. We were greeted and welcomed by Harry at reception. He was able to advise us on things to do and times to visit places. He organise day trips for us to visit the Golden temple and Waga border. (A must do trip)The breakfast was tasty and not spicy for European taste buds. We especially liked the freshly prepared Amritsari Kulcha (stuffed naan bread) with masala omelette. Thanks to Shivam, the food and beverage captain, who was always responsive to assist guests at all times. He was even on hand to show us how to play the Indian game carrom, a bit like pool only you use checker pieces instead of balls. Highly recommend it, the location is convenient to the airport and situated in the countryside & uncrowded area. Wake up each morning to the sound of birds. The rooms are very spacious, and in local design. Outside your room you have your own balcony with table and chairs where you can enjoy tea at anytime of the day. There is a great pool for swimming lengths. Very picturesque. On the morning of our departure Harry organised a complimentary drive through the surrounding farmland on a tractor for my wife and i, very cool. Price is great value too.

Everything about this property is totally exceptional. The rooms are very good in size, with nice comfortable beds with all the Indian heritage feeling and design. The staff are super courteous, helpful and very accomodative. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and help you with everything you need during your stay. The breakfast is a small spread but every item is delicoius. You cannot go wrong with food here, no matter what or anything you order from the menu. We had an early morning flight and had to check out at 5:30 am, way before breakfast time, and the staff prepared a breakfast package for us which could stay longer (Parathas and Sandwiches) and ample in quantity for our long journey. Every evening there was a bonfire done so we could sit out and enjoy the cold weather and beautiful surroundings. Checkin and checkout was smooth as well. We enjoyed the Tractor ride which was included in the package and the ride to the farms through the village roads of Punjab was very enjoyable. Totally worth every penny spent here.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the fabulous check in process where the gentleman at reception gave us loads of information on the history of the hotel and we received a warm welcome. The staff at reception are amazing and so are the staff in all other departments. The breakfast was very good and the barbecue in the evenings was lovely. The hotel is soooo beautiful and attention has been paid to every area. Very well preserved historical objects and the decor throughout is very tasteful. We had a lovely morning swimming in the pool and they discreetly changed the wet towels and did not intrude. It was one of the best hotels we have stayed in in India. Thank you so much to everyone.

The RanjitVillas architecture and interior design is stylish yet understated with spacious bedrooms and airy public spaces. Location is peaceful and quiet, so sleep was undisturbed in a comfortable, huge bed. The restaurant service and food is excellent. The staff are very attentive and friendly, just the right level of informality to help us relax. We will definitely recommend to friends and stay here again ourselves when we return to Amritsar. Thank you Hari, Kulvinder and the rest of the team.

To start with, the property is at a quiet place...away from the hustle bustle of the city. It is very close to the airport which is also an added advantage. The staff was extremely cordial and generous. We reached in the morning around 9.30 and the staff at the front desk had our room ready in half an hour and allowed us to check in (early) which was so gracious of him. The food was also good. Overall a good experience!!
